We did not tour Indiana but merely passed through it, however we did stay for a couple of nights in the Indiana Dunes State Park, near Michigan City on the shores of Lake Michigan, where there are the most incredibly high sand dunes.
Considering we were hundreds
of miles from the coast of an ocean, these dunes were amazing in size. We spent many hours walking over and on them as well as sitting
on the beach on the shores of Lake Michigan.
The RV park was a state park and was well laid out, pretty and with power hook-ups. Water
was available but not as a connection to the RV, so we filled when we left the camp. The price for this camp was good value at $11.
